You’ll learn how to recognize common disorders affecting WBCs and platelets, interpret lab data reliably, and steer through tricky clinical scenarios with confidence.At this seminar, you will learn how to choose appropriate preanesthetic screening tests for apparently healthy dogs and cats as well as dogs and cats with preclinical cardiovascular issues.

Speaker Bio
Nancy received her DVM from The Ohio State College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. She then returned to her native city of Philadelphia where she completed a general internship and small animal internal medicine residency at the University of Pennsylvania’s veterinary hospital. Nancy remained on staff at U. Penn for an additional 3 years as an attending clinician in the ICU, after which time she practiced in specialty hospitals in New Jersey and Maryland. While in private practice, Nancy concurrently completed a residency in emergency/critical care. Nancy’s positions while in practice included director of ER, ICU, and Internal Medicine departments; director of internal med. and ER/CC residency programs, and principal investigator of several clinical drug trials. After 22 years of clinical practice, Nancy joined the IDEXX medical consulting team, and recently she transitioned to the medical education specialty team, where she enjoys educating and forever learning from veterinary professionals.
