Dr. Rebecca George, DVM, MS, DACVIM (Oncology) is a Veterinary Oncologist and Medical Affairs Specialist in Oncology at IDEXX. She earned her DVM from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, completed a small animal rotating internship at VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital in Denver, and later returned to Auburn to complete both a Master's degree in Biomedical Sciences and a residency in Small Animal Oncology. Dr. George's clinical and research interests include osteosarcoma, leukemia, lymphoma, targeted cancer therapies, and immunotherapy. Passionate about advancing cancer care while maximizing patient quality of life, she works closely with veterinary teams to translate emerging oncology science into practical clinical applications. Prior to joining IDEXX, Dr. George participated in an international veterinary exchange program in Chile and practiced as a relief veterinarian across the Denver area.
