Dr. Erin Brinkman received her undergraduate and veterinary degrees from Mississippi State University. After veterinary school, she completed a small-animal rotating internship at the University of Georgia. Following her internship, Dr. Brinkman spent a year as an emergency veterinarian in St. Petersburg, FL. She then completed a diagnostic imaging residency at Kansas State University and became board certified by the ACVR in 2008. After her residency, Dr. Brinkman joined the faculty at Mississippi State University, where she was the service chief of the diagnostic imaging service and residency director until December 2019. Dr. Brinkman joined IDEXX Telemedicine Consultants in the fall of 2019 and became a full-time IDEXX radiologist in January 2020. She loves to teach and is happy to have so many opportunities to work with residents and frequently hosts general imaging resident rounds and KCC.
